Taste Lancashire At Home

This free campaign for partners is designed to showcase Lancashire’s foodie talent and fantastic produce, keeping Lancashire food and drink top of mind. We have had a great response from a number of our Taste Lancashire Ambassadors including Oli from Hipping Hall and Nigel Haworth.

Campaign Aim

The campaign aims to keep Lancashire top of mind and highlight Lancashire’s food and drink offer, a lot of which is currently available to order.

The campaign will use a variety of media channels to create and promote a # campaign –#TasteLancashire on Twitter/Facebook/Youtube/ Instagram with moderated user generated content to promote Lancashire.

• The content will be hosted on the Visit Lancashire website with the # campaign promoted across all social media channels
• Provides a platform for partners (particularly food and drink) to share their favourite dishes/ ingredients/ food and drink locations

How can partners get involved?

There are a number of ways to engage and add momentum to the campaign:

Video:

Use your smart phone to create your own vlog, talk about favourite dishes/ ingredients/ foraging locations. How about telling the story of how your most famous dish came into being. Or how do you decide what goes onto the menu, drink suggestions to go with the dish. You can also send over any existing video content that you have and we’ll top and tail with Taste Lancashire. Recipe:

Email the list of ingredients and the method to make the dish along with a photo of the finished dish and we’ll add it to our website. Just email [email protected] with the details.

Make a short film of you making the dish, don’t worry about editing it, we can do that for you.

Pub Quiz:

Film a 60 second video – in which you talk about your pub making sure you mention the answers to the questions that you’ll be later asking (6 questions ideally)

Email the video to [email protected] along with the questions and answers and we’ll bring it together in a quiz which will go out on our social media channels, at the moment this is on a Wednesday on a weekly basis.
