Reality TV favourites to headline St George’s star-studded shopping event
A host of reality TV favourites will join students at a star-studded VIP shopping party in Preston this month.
TOWIE star Joey Essex and Ex on The Beach favourite Vicky Pattison will be the guests of honour at the eighth annual Student Shop-In at St George’s Shopping Centre, Preston on Tuesday September 29 from 6pm-9pm.
TV personality Joey found fame on TOWIE in 2011 before becoming a hot favourite on ITV’s I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here. Vicky Pattison stormed to stardom on MTV’s Geordie Shore and recently made waves on Ex on the Beach.
The line-up will also feature Jon Clark, Hannah Elizabeth, Luis Morrison and Cally Jane Beech from ITV’s reality dating show Love Island.
Jon and Hannah were the most talked about couple on the show – after Jon proposed live on air.
This year’s event, which runs from 6pm until 9pm, is expected to attract thousands of shoppers from across the North West with retailers offering special discounts and guest companies offering giveaways and entertainment.
In addition to a special meet and greet, the celebs will also choose and handover £1,000 to one lucky student shopper.

The event will include live music from Rock FM and presenter Darryl Morris will compère the evening. There will also be a free photo booth, entertainment, goody bags and more.
General manager of St George’s Shopping Centre, Andrew Stringer, said: “The Student Shop-In is a major event in the St George’s calendar and we know it is one that students from far and wide look forward to every year.
“Each year we build on the success of the previous year and once again this event promises to be bigger and better than ever before.
“Securing some of this year’s biggest reality TV stars is also a huge coup and as well as meeting the celebrities there’s a real opportunity for savvy students to grab exclusive shopping discounts.
