Put Lancashire Cheese On The Menu – British Cheese Week
Saturday 22nd September heralds the start of British Cheese Week, and it’s not too late to take advantage of it as a promotional opportunity- and support local cheese makers at the same time.
If you use Lancashire cheese in dishes on your menu, make a point of where the cheese comes from. If you’re looking for inspiration, we have an ever-growing bank of recipes over on our consumer website, visitlancashire.com. Our recipes selection can be searched so you can see those which use Lancashire cheese and add them to your specials.
Another idea is to create a Lancashire cheese board. There are cheese makers in the county making the three traditional Lancashire types, but much more besides. We’ve done all of the hard work for you – check out our guide to creating a 100% Lancashire cheese board.
Cheese Week is organised by The Cheese Web – we have digital copies of their logo and promotional poster available if you require them.
Marketing Lancashire members who are planning special events or menus for British Cheese Week should get in touch and let us know and we will promote your offers.
