Preston Markets set to bloom with new florist
Spring is coming early to Preston Markets this week as Preston Flowers opens its doors on Wednesday 8th January.
The family run florist has been a Preston staple for over 35 years having previously operated in the former indoor market and St. John’s shopping centre.
Now the son of the previous owner, has joined the list of traders at Preston Markets selling a range of fresh and artificial flowers for all occasions. He said:
“I can’t wait bring my business back to Preston Markets. We will be opening from Wednesday and look forward to welcoming customers new and old to our stall.
“As well as day to day flowers, we specialise in occasion flowers for weddings, parties and funerals. If you have an event coming up and need some advice, please pop down for a chat.”
Councillor Robert Boswell, Cabinet Member for Environment at Preston City Council, said:
“It is great to welcome Preston Flowers back to the market. Preston Flowers is a well-established, successful business which I am sure will be very popular with customers and fellow traders in the Market Hall.
“As always I encourage the people of Preston to continue to support these local businesses and enjoy what Preston Markets and its traders have to offer.”
