Organised by Pendle Council and Pendle Vision, the prestigious Pendle Business Awards 2016 will take place at the luxurious Fence Gate Inn on Thursday 9th June.
BBC Radio Lancashire’s afternoon and Saturday breakfast presenter, John Gilmore (Gilly), will host the ceremony.
And this year the Awards are all about celebrating what Pendle the place has to offer.
Councillor Mohammed Iqbal, Leader of Pendle Council, said: “This is the fifth year of Pendle Business Awards, which demonstrates our ongoing commitment to our business community.
“Whether you’re a one-man band with a local specialist trade; a growing small to medium-sized business or a large company with a worldwide reputation, there’ll be a category for you!”
Dennis Mendoros OBE, Chairman of Pendle Vision and President of Euravia Engineering and Supply Co Ltd, added: “Many people don’t know that Pendle has a real success story to tell.
“We have the highest concentrations of employment in advanced manufacturing in the UK with a significant number of world class and very high profile businesses.
“And many of our award winning and innovative businesses are recognised as some of the most enterprising in the UK.
“Pendle Business Awards give us the chance to put the spotlight on these companies as well as those more recently established.”
