New Dates For Kate
Marketing Lancashire, the county’s Destination Management Organisation, has added a further two dates to its second series of FREE inspirational workshops led by Kate Hardcastle – due to increased demand for her no-nonsense approach to great customer service and achieving business success.
The additional workshops will take place in the impressive, classical surroundings of Blackburn Art Gallery & Museum and at Ormskirk’s leading contemporary art and crafts venue, the Chapel Gallery.
Kate Hardcastle is passionate about business that’s well done and is a champion of good customer service, which she shares through her own businesses, workshops and as a regular commentator in the media. Her recent appearances include BBC Breakfast, ITV Daybreak and Sky News, supporting Small Business Saturday and responding to the seasonal boom in online sales.
Kate’s workshops for Marketing Lancashire aim to ‘inspire success’ in a wide range of businesses from small high street retailer to luxury spa hotel, rural B&B to large visitor attraction.
Ruth Connor, Chief Executive of Marketing Lancashire commenting on the additional workshops said “We’ve received a huge amount of interest in Kate’s latest workshops, to the extent that we are now close to capacity at one or two of the venues.
“Kate is such a passionate, straight-talking speaker who engages easily and quickly with her audience. She’s brimming with common sense and generous with her experience and anecdotes, passing on tips and ideas on what can make or break a business.”
Sabiha Patel, owner of Blackburn’s Simply Chocolicious and winner of ‘The Retail Factor – Blackburn 2012’, attended Marketing Lancashire’s first Retail Workshop in September last year and went on to win a personal 1-2-1 with Kate Hardcastle.
“I am so glad that I booked onto the Retail Workshops. Kate was very thorough in her presentation and her expertise and knowledge within retail is fantastic. She gave me lots of advice on my business which I’m very, very excited about putting into practice with the opening of our new Chocolate Cafe.” ( Café opens Friday 7 February, 51 Regent St, Blackburn)
