Lancashire Hotspots at Bartle Hall Hotel
8 – 10am, 23 February 2016 at Bartle Hall Hotel
Lancashire Hotspots is a regular new feature in Lancashire Business View magazine which examines the county’s hottest spots for commerce, industry and regeneration.
It offers perspectives from the across the landscape of the private and public sectors and delves into the business fabric of the county’s districts.
This Lancashire Hotspots event is the first of a series which will take place around the county in 2016. It will link directly to the Lancashire Hotspots feature in our March-April edition where the focus will be on Preston and South Ribble.
The event
The Preston, South Ribble and Lancashire City Deal will naturally form a key part of the conversation at this Lancashire Hotspots event.
One of the Lancashire Enterprise Partnership’s key projects, the City Deal has been described as a ‘once-in-a-lifetime funding programme’, creating thousands of jobs and homes and boosting the central Lancashire economy by £1 billion.
But the headlines tell only a part of the story: this is about investment, skills, growth and ambition.
At our Lancashire Hotspots event, we’ll meet business and public sector leaders. They will share their vision and outline opportunities.
The event, which takes place on Tuesday February 23, will be a question time-style panel event with plenty of opportunities to network with the movers and shakers of Preston and South Ribble. And breakfast too!
The theme of the event is: ‘What opportunities will the City Deal create in terms of skills, investment and collaboration?’.
But there’ll be much more to hear, learn and discuss!
