Free exhibition of creative work opens at UCLan
An annual showcase of imaginative and eye-catching student designs has opened at a free public exhibition at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan).
The UCLan Degree Shows display the work of more than 450 final year undergraduate students across a variety of disciplines within the Faculty of Culture and the Creative Industries.
The shows, which feature work from architecture, design and media, fashion and textiles, fine art and photography, are open daily on the Preston Campus from Friday 14 June – Sunday 23 June 10.00am – 5.00pm but will be closed on Sunday 16 June and Saturday 22 June.
The event is free for all and includes award-winning projects, fashion collections fresh from Graduate Fashion Week in London and work that is also available to purchase.
Jane Anthony, Executive Dean of the Faculty, commented: “Every year we host the Degree Shows the students deliver projects that are professional, thought-provoking and capture the imagination. This year is no exception. We are all incredibly proud of what the students have achieved and would encourage as many visitors as possible to come along and have a look around.”
The Degree Shows are open daily with work on display in five buildings. More information is available on the UCLan Degree Shows website – www.uclan.ac.uk/degreeshows and people can also keep up with events by following #UCLanDegreeShows on Twitter. For more information, email [email protected]
