Marketing Lancashire has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dynamic Head of Partnerships keen to join the senior management team and lead on the development of strategic business partnerships across a range of sectors, including Lancashire’s thriving £3.68billion visitor economy sector.
Marketing Lancashire is the Destination Management Organisation for Lancashire. Responsible for the marketing and promotion of the destination as a great place to visit, work and invest. The county attracts over 63 million visitors a year and offers unparalleled choice for the visitor in terms of attractions, hospitality and high quality events; reflected in the organisation’s increasing membership, which has grown by 100% in the last few years.
Marketing Lancashire also works closely with the Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) and is currently leading on a major project to develop a compelling Lancashire narrative, along with national and international PR to re-position the county. This is an important time in the development of Marketing Lancashire and for the whole county, with a wide range of private and public sector partners and stakeholders sharing our ambitions and drive towards greater recognition and success for Lancashire.
The role:
Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will be responsible for devising an innovative partnerships strategy which includes the development of membership of Marketing Lancashire and maximising income generation and revenue earning opportunities, through new business relationships.
This is a diverse and energising role for an astute and commercially-focused professional with an excellent track record, eager to play a key role in Lancashire's growing sucess.
