Double award win for Partington’s Holiday Parks

Family businesses from The North West of England came together on Friday 6th March for the North West Family Business Awards event, held under the wings of The Concorde, in the purpose-built hangar at Manchester Airport.

The awards ceremony was dedicated to celebrating family businesses and the great work they do in the region, the categories had a whopping 192 entries across Lancashire, Cheshire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside and Cumbria.

Entering these prestigious awards was a first for Partington’s Holiday Parks, based in Thornton-cleveleys near Blackpool, Lancashire.

Owning and working in a family business is nothing new for the current CEO’s of Partington’s Holiday Parks, in fact it’s all they’ve really known. Apart from the short spells working in the ‘wider world’ to gain external experience Andrea Challis and Robert Kearsley are brother and sister and joint CEO’s of their 76 year old family Holiday Park business.

We love recognition and were thrilled to be winners in the Large Leisure and Tourism category at The North West Family Business Awards and then North West Family Business of the Year!! It was a huge honour for our family and dedicated employees.

Now the winners of each category will go forward to the Family Business United National Family Business, which will be held in London on 4th June. #NWFBA2020 #familybusinessdoublewinners
