Cuckoo Gin is the Bee’s Knees!
Cask Aged Cuckoo Sunshine Gin has been awarded the BEST Gin in England in the Matured Category at the World Gin Awards 2020. The limited-Edition Cask Aged Sunshine Gin will now compete against winners from various other countries across the world in February to win the crown of World’s Best Gin.
Diversification has always been at the heart of what they do. In what you would call a diversification of sorts, they have aged three of their four Cuckoo Gins (Signature, Spiced and Sunshine) for 60 days in ex-bourbon barrels, to produce limited edition batches for Cuckoo followers and curious gin fans to enjoy. The gins, as always are produced at Holmes Farm in Brindle, distilled, aged, rested, labelled and bottled on site, continuing to instil pride and provenance in their products..
Sunshine Gin is their best seller, and now the Cask Aged version has been recognised for its smooth, delicate, slightly sweet and fruity taste, combined with the oak finish from the barrels.
