City Games – The Challenge is On!
The Preston Guild City Games is challenging businesses in a dozen sporting activities over three weekends this Summer.
Could you and your colleagues take on Preston City Council’s winning football team? Or how about Preston’s College triumphant rounders team? Or even UCLan’s victorious sprinters?
One business doing just that is IT Works Resource Group, based in Fulwood, Preston. With their staff taking part in the Guild City Games for the first time, Chief Executive Officer, Tim Bashall and Chief Operating Officer, Darren Mills, commented:
“This event is great for Preston and for local businesses. I’d heard about the Games and decided to ask staff if they were up for it” said Darren.
“Everyone loved the idea and jumped at the chance to be involved. They are looking forward to challenging each other, never mind the other businesses!” added Tim, who is also taking part in a few activities over the duration of the games!
Chair of the Guild City Games organising group, Jimmy Khan, added:
“It’s fantastic to see Preston businesses coming together and being so enthusiastic about sport and team bonding for their staff.
“There isn’t much time left to register your teams, so don’t miss out and sign up today!”
If you think you and your colleagues could take on the staff of the City Council, UCLan or IT Works Resource Group, why not sign up to the challenge today!
