Buy British Day – Pop Up Event in Preston
The second annual Buy British Day will be taking place on Saturday October 3rd 2015, with mini Best of Britannia pop-up events in London and Preston, encouraging consumers to support brands and businesses that design and manufacture in Britain.
An initiative from Best of Britannia – an annual event and newly launched website that showcases more than 200 of the very best British-made brands and products – Buy British Day aims to engage with consumers who care about the provenance of what they’re buying.
This year partnering with Made In Britain, Buy British Day on October 3rd comes to London’s Kings Cross – teaming up with Wayne Hemingway’s The Classic Car Boot Sale in Granary Square – and central Preston, in a pop-up retail outlet in the middle of the Fishergate shopping centre and on the Preston Train Station concourse.
Buy British Day Best of Britannia Preston pop-up – in association with Marketing Lancashire, Preston City Council, Virgin Trains and University of Central Lancashire – welcomes tartan designer Alison O’Neill’s The Shepherdess, master leather craftsmen
The Leather Satchel Co. and ‘free from’ chocolate specialist Ayni Chocolate, as well as many more to be announced, who’ll decamp to a pop-up retail outlet smack in the middle of Preston’s Fishergate shopping centre and the main concourse at Preston Train Station.
Support Buy British Day – and buy British on October 3rd 2015, with Best of Britannia.
