Burnley-based AMS NEVE powers Oscar-winning sound for Dune: Part Two

This year, their equipment played a pivotal role in achieving the prestigious Best Sound award at the 97th Academy Awards for Dune: Part Two.
Created by the renowned German composer Hans Zimmer, who also scored the acclaimed Dune (2021) that won the Oscar for Best Original Score in 2022, the soundtrack for Dune: Part Two was born from the creative synergy at London’s legendary Air Studios. Founded in 1969 by the iconic Sir George Martin, this extraordinary venue is located in a converted Victorian church and features the magnificent hexagonal Lyndhurst Hall—perfectly designed for capturing the rich sounds of both orchestra and chorus simultaneously.
