GA is a family-owned and family-run business where every colleague is considered an integral part of the family.   The manufacturing facility is situated in Bretherton at the warehouse distribution in Buckshaw Village.  The company currently employs over 750 colleagues across all sites  inLancashire.

Through the Lancashire Business Red Rose Awards, GA received awards for Family Business and Export Award Winners in 2023 and Large Business Award in 2022.   GA has a strong engagement with apprenticeships across various business areas, including engineering, human resources, accountancy and business administration.  There are currently a number of apprentices employed at different stages of their study programmes.

At GA, it is not just the logo that is green, as they are committed to earth-friendly manufacturing and minimal environmental impact and have committed to ten environmental pledges, including ceasing landfill of any waste by 2025, and reducing carbon releases by 50% every decade, over the next 30 years.
