Return of the Blackpool Resort Pass
The Blackpool Resort Pass is back for 2017 – giving visitors the opportunity to make big savings on their favourite attractions in the UK’s most popular seaside destination.
The pass is the first of its kind to be operated in this country and gives you the chance to enjoy many top attractions and transport around the resort at a fraction of the price.
Initially trialled in Blackpool in 2013, it has increased in popularity over the years and in 2016 achieved record sales.
In addition to the tens of thousands of people in the UK who took advantage of the best ticket in town, visitors travelled from across Europe and as far away as Australia and India to experience the resort’s many attractions.
There are now a number of options for visitors to ensure they get the most out of their holiday:
• The Original Resort Pass – Gives visitors access to SIX attractions – Blackpool Pleasure Beach, Nickelodeon Land, The Blackpool Tower Eye and 4D Experience, The Blackpool Tower Dungeon, SEA LIFE Blackpool and Madame Tussauds.
• Resort Pass Plus – Offers access to NINE attractions – includes those in the Original Resort Pass plus Blackpool Zoo, Sandcastle Waterpark and Blackpool Model Village & Gardens.
• There is also the option to purchase The Original Resort Pass and enhance your Blackpool experience by adding extra attractions via bolt-ons. This year’s bolt-ons include Blackpool Transport bus and tram tickets and discounted car parking along, with access to The Blackpool Tower Circus, the Blackpool Tower Ballroom & Afternoon Tea, Viva Showbar, Ascent Trampoline Park, the Star Trek Exhibition, the Hot Ice Show, Ripley’s Believe It Or Not, Illuminasia, Funny Girls and a fantastic discounted food offer at Coral Island.
• An exclusive parking pass discount with a one-off fee from just £10 for two days or £20 for up to 7 days parking within a number of locations, it’s an offer you can’t resist.
The Original Resort Pass is priced at £55 per person while the Resort Pass Plus is £80 and passes are valid for seven days and give users one visit to each attraction.
Cllr Gillian Campbell, Deputy Leader of Blackpool Council said: ““The Blackpool Resort Pass was a huge success last year and we hope to see that continue in 2017.
“It is essential that we offer our visitors the opportunity to enjoy as much of Blackpool at great prices and the Blackpool Resort Pass does just that.
“Blackpool is the only destination in the UK to offer such an incentive for its visitors. We recognise that people spend their hard earned money when they visit Blackpool, so we want them to enjoy the best value for money possible. By teaming up with so many more attractions and transport services we believe we are doing just that.
“The Blackpool Resort Pass really is just the ticket!”
The Blackpool Resort Pass has achieved some fantastic feedback from customers over the last couple of years, here is what they had to say:
“Excellent value for money, especially with the transport add-on”
“Excellent for families, we had a great time”
“Very pleased with the pass, it cut queue times down and offered additional offers”
“An excellent trip to Blackpool that was made even better by the Resort Pass. It was worth every penny!”
“It was great value for money and easy to use. If it wasn’t for the Resort Pass, we wouldn’t have been able to visit all the attractions.”
