Ribby Hall Village retains five star status following Visit England inspection
Ribby Hall Village in Wrea Green, Lancashire has received five star accreditation from Visit England for the seventh consecutive year, maintaining it’s status as Lancashire’s only five-star holiday village.
The assessment by Visit England has awarded The Village five stars following a stay where Ribby Hall Village scored highly in all aspects of accommodation, facilities and grounds.
Ribby Hall Village is a luxury self-catering holiday village near Blackpool on Lancashire's Fylde Coast, in the North West of England – just ten minutes drive from the beaches of Blackpool and Lytham St. Annes. The report graded The Village with an overall score of 93% in terms of cleanliness, facilities, service and maintenance. Ribby Hall Village is one of just seven holiday villages in the whole of England to achieve this standard.
Visit England’s quality assessment report comprises scores, star rating and commentary reflecting the experience of the Quality in Tourism assessor on the day of the visit. The report is issued following a visit and extensive assessment where The Village is measured and assessed on a variety of factors from cleanliness to service.
The report makes strong references to the high standards of cleanliness, service and presentation within accommodation and facilities around The Village.
Luxury accommodation at Ribby Hall Village includes modern, well-equipped self-catering cottages, idyllic pine lodges with outdoor hot tubs and three larger bespoke properties each in their own private grounds. For a child-free break there is also the adult-only SPA Hotel.
Facilities at Ribby Hall Village include a family fun swimming pool with water chutes, hot tubs and water features; plus a separate pool for adults with its own steam room and Jacuzzi; an adventure playground; health and fitness classes; and spa and indoor soft play area. As well as the first class self-catering facilities in the cottages there are also ten different eateries including a tearoom, tapas bar and family friendly bar & grill.
The report concluded that Ribby Hall Village “Continues to develop with significant upgrades and additions planned for the coming year; the significant financial investment made helps to keep the holiday village looking smart, modern and in-line with guest expectations.”
