Five Star Holiday Village seeks an enthusiastic and organised Duty Supervisor

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Village for a customer focused Supervisor, passionate about working with a team to deliver a great customer experience in our Guest Services department.

Interested in:
An energetic and approachable Supervisor keen to work closely with the existing Supervisors and Office Manager to ensure the smooth running of the Accommodation sales and reception office whilst striving to continuously improve the operational effectiveness of the department to enhance sales and customer service.

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate supervisory expertise; a knowledge which is likely to have been acquired within a similar position in the hospitality Industry, who is keen to supervise, train and motivate others to deliver fantastic customer service

The successful candidate will be required to:

  • Carry out Holiday, Spa & Hotel reservations within the team
  • Maintain a close liaison with other Departments to deliver excellent customer service to mutual guests 
  • Manage ‘outside’ allocations / liaise with Agents
  • Produce weekly figures
  • Assist with management of staff
  • Assist with the management of financial payments relating to holiday bookings
  • Communicate data to other departments
  • Build and maintain an awareness of telephone and system statistics to monitor performance
  • Deal with guest queries and complaints, both over the telephone and face to face
  • Monitor customer service levels throughout the team to ensure consistent 5* performance
  • Provide support and training to team members
  • Take responsibility for Health and Safety Compliance

Availability:

The position is full time; the normal hours of work are 42 per week to cover a shift pattern which includes weekends, mid-week, early mornings and evenings. The department is open 7 days a week, 365 days a year, from 8am to 9pm Monday and Friday, 8am to 8pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
