Pendle Leisure Plus celebrates Chinese New Year with top Tai Chi attendees

Pendle Leisure Plus has been celebrating the Chinese New Year of the Snake by awarding the top attenders of their Tai Chi classes with a certificate.

Throughout the year, Lighthouse Tai Chi provides Tai Chi and Aqua Tai Chi classes across two of the three Leisure Centres managed by Pendle Leisure Trust; Pendle Leisure Centre in Colne, and West Craven Sports Centre in Barnoldswick and to celebrate the Year of the Snake, they have awarded their top attendees with a special certificate.

The top attenders for 2024 were:

The certificates were presented during the classes to the top attenders by Helena Kean & David Pelling of Lighthouse Tai Chi, who have many years of experience, both learning and teaching Tai Chi between them. They continue their own studies to develop their teaching and tai chi skills, passing on the benefits they have seen from their own experience.

Tai Chai is on at Pendle Leisure Centre, Colne every Wednesday 10am – 11am, and 11am – 12pm.

Or at West Craven Sports Centre, Barnoldswick every Tuesday 1pm – 2pm

Aqua Tai Chi is on at West Craven Sports Centre, Barnoldswick every Friday 11am – 11:45am
