Ribby Hall Village & Spa Hotel Celebrate
The Spa Hotel at Ribby Hall Village has received a superior four star accreditation from the AA while the Brasserie at The Spa Hotel received two AA Rosettes.
The AA recognises around 4000 hotels across Britain and Ireland and the merit score provides consumers with a means of comparing hotels within the same star rating. The AA is one of the UK's most recognized and trusted brands who have been recommending and acknowledging hotels for over a century.
The Spa Hotel received an 80% rating which puts it at the top end of a four star quality rating (70%-84%). The hotel is assessed in nine areas, the most critical being Cleanliness, Hospitality, Service, Bedrooms, Bathrooms and Food.
Andrew Scott, Spa Hotel Manager comments:
“We are all absolutely delighted to have achieved this level with the AA. It’s an honour for the hotel to be recognised so highly by such an established and well-respected organization. The Spa Hotel will soon be celebrating its second birthday and we’ve got a fantastic team in place who work incredibly hard, and are dedicated to making the Hotel, Spa and Brasserie the best destination in Lancashire for guests to come to relax, unwind and indulge.”
The Brasserie received two AA Rosettes, the highest accolade possible on first inspection. The assessor commented that “dinner impressed for its use of quality produce and imaginative dishes”. Highlights of the meal included a “simple but effective starter” of Soft boiled duck egg, ham hock croquettes and homemade salad cream and “a stunning lemon tart”. Restaurants with two AA rosettes are described by the AA as “Excellent restaurants, which aim for and achieve higher standards, better consistency and where a greater precision is apparent in the cooking. There will be obvious attention to the selection of quality ingredients.” There are less than 800 restaurants in the whole of the UK with 2 AA Rosettes.
