Green Tourism Businesses Celebrated
At an event held at Ribby Hall Holiday Village ion Thursday 5 May 2011.
Mike Wilkinson, Chief Executive of Lancashire and Blackpool Tourist Board, said: "It is wonderful to see so many businesses being committed to sustainable tourism and becoming ambassadors for the environment.
"By doing what it takes to win the Green Tourism Business Scheme accreditation they have helped their own business by saving costs on energy and they are putting Lancashire on the map as a destination for green tourism."
