Everything is in place for Music In The Park 2023. The next Bank Holiday weekend will bring the music to Worden Park in Leyland on Sunday 28 May.

The fantastic line up of 80s and 90s chart toppers that will be entertaining the crowd in the beautiful setting of Worden Park this year include Bananarama, Peter Andre, Bad Manners, The South, Nik Kershaw, Boys on Block and Deco

Back by popular demand, Pat Sharp will again be on the decks spinning more of those fantastic tunes that got everyone dancing last year.

The hits to sing-a-long and dance to this year will definitely include these chart topping classic tunes – Venus, Mysterious Girl, I Won’t Let The Sun Go Down on Me and Lip Up Fatty!

Some categories of tickets are already sold out but there are some general admission tickets still available.

Councillor Paul Foster, Leader of South Ribble Borough Council said: “We are delighted to bring Music In The Park back for the second time with an even bigger and better line up. We have tried to keep the ticket cost down as much as possible and think that £40 is great value for such a great line up with seven bands, the fantastic Pat Sharp DJ set and event hosting by Brother Beyond’s Nathan Moore. I am looking forward to it and hope that as many people as possible come along and have a great time.”

The gates open at 1pm, and it will be non-stop music from the start with the first act on stage at 1:15pm and the headliners Bananarama on at 9:30pm to finish the show at 10:30 pm.

There will be lots of food stalls and a licensed bar to enjoy. Picnic blankets and foldable chairs can be brought to the event, so you can make yourself comfortable and enjoy the show!
