Lancashire Innovation Festival Supporting World Mental Health Day
Week one of the the Lancashire Innovation Festival #LANIF2020 saw a number of lively debates and discussions around innovation in Lancashire. Graham Baldwin, Chair of the Innovation Board, kicked off the series of events which has seen more than 200 people attend virtually so far.
With this in mind, we also want to take the opportunity to reflect on World Mental Health Day #WorldMentalHealthDay (Saturday 10th October), and the theme of ‘Mental Health For All’. We encourage everyone to keep talking, keep doing business, and keep active both mentally and physically during these challenging times; especially in Lancashire where we are facing additional COVID restrictions.
The Mental Health Foundation has a number of resources to help you recognise, manage and care for the mental health and wellbeing of yourself and those around you, whether colleagues, friends or family. Do take the opportunity to browse through these over the coming weeks and months.
It has therefore been nice to see a number of familiar faces, and chat on-line with those we would normally meet in a coffee shop, at an event, or in the office. This series of events will not only spark the discussion about how innovative, enterprising and resilient we are as a region, but will also aim to reinforce why we live, work and do business in and across Lancashire.
There are still plenty more events to pique your interest across the month from food innovations, tours and showcases, to how to finance innovation. All concluding on 29th with the ‘Vision of the Future from Lancashire’.
Register now, join the discussion and we look forward to seeing you all very soon.
