Marketing Lancashire is Lancashire’s place marketing organisation and leads the LVEP (Local Visitor Economy Partnership) for the county. Working collaboratively with both local authority and private sector partners to communicate investment opportunities and to showcase Lancashire’s strengths as a place to live, work, study and invest in, as well as a premier destination for visitors. Volunteers in the Spotlight
Volunteers across the county play an invaluable role in supporting Lancashire’s visitor attractions – many could not exist without them. Here we pay tribute to some of our great volunteer groups.
23 volunteers from the Friends of the Guild Wheel have cleared the path at Sandyforth Lane, Fulwood, to improve access to the Preston Guild Wheel for walkers and cyclists.
Sculptor's new work helps tell Lancashire Witches' story
Artist Marjan Wouda chooses to live and work in Lancashire and finds her inspiration in the natural and industrial landscapes that surround her. Literature and stories are often the starting point for her creations and for her latest work Dandy, installed in Clitheroe, she finds inspiration in a dark chapter in Lancashire history.
Early Connect Pilot for Lancashire
The Lancashire Skills & Employment hub is working with the Department for Education on the Early Connect Pilot and is looking to connect with businesses who already employ young people and apprentices to capture best practices and promote the recruitment of young people.
